Heat Results[/u]
Heat 01: Dryml, Kennett, Lindgren, Miskowiak 55.80, 4-2
Comments: Kennett gated last but rode an excellent bend to move into second. Freddie was all over him for that second place but couldn't get past. Miskowiak never in it, out the back.
Sponsored by Clean Cut Sports @ www.cleancutsports.com
Heat 02: Swiderski, Hefenbrock, Hansen, Schramm e/f 55.44, 3-3, 7-5
Comments:Before thestart Schramm having horrible bike problems, they had to break his first bike down to make up the second one. He just got to start under the 2 mins - but broke down as soon as he tried to pull away. Majestic ride from Swidders, well out the front, Hansen finished 3rd over half a lap behind Hefenbrock.
Sponsored by Steve Dixon www.stevedixonphotography.co.uk
Heat 03: Klindt, Iversen, Kroner, Johnston e/f 55.02, 5-1 12-6
Comments:Wolves pair gated together and never looked troubled. Johnno never in it and looked slow and then his bike packed up on lap 3
Sponsored by Boxer123 Stamps bought & sold. Pm me here or via the Witches forum
Heat 04: Howe, Hampel, Hefenbrock (Swiderski excluded) 54.91, 4-2, 16-8
Comments:
Swiderski in for Chris Schramm and Hefenbrock in for Hansen
Race stopped when Hampel well away - Swiderski clipped back of Howe's back (who was 3rd at time) and catapulted himself into fence, Swiderski has been excluded from re-run and has only just sat up. Looked nasty but he's on his feet now and walking back to pits.
Re-Run - Hampel tried the same move but Howe beat him to bend and never looked back. All three well strung out.
Sponsored by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Kennett, Miskowiak, race awarded (Iversen & Klindt excluded) no time!, 5-0, 16-13
Comments:
Race stopped, Klindt fell first bend (on his own) bike slid out from under him - Klindt is excluded from re-run.
Klindt straight on phone to ref after running back to pits - who refused to talk to him as said it had - rightly - to go through team manager. Nicolai is not happy chappie - said he shut down to avoid clattering into Iversen (think he may have over-reacted a tad, NK wasn't THAT close...)But as boys in studio say - a lot of refs would have had all 4 back in, consistency, consistency...
Re-run - Miskowiak peach of a move, pushing NK wide and letting Kennett get away. Miskowiak picking wide line and letting NK back into it, NK cut underneath him on lap 3 and took Miskowiak's leg away, causing a fall. NK is excluded and race awarded 5-0. NK now on phone to ref - who is talking to him (but won't talk to Klindt!)Lots of swearing ensues and Sky have to apologise...

Heat 06: Hampel, Lindgren, Swiderski, Dryml 56.31, 2-4, 18-17
Comments: Hampel away and gone first two laps, terrific scrap between Swidders and Lindgren for second which Freddie finally mastered (after slip by Swidders) and then went after Hampel - on the line Jarek only won by a wheel length!
Sponsored by www.SpeedwayInfo.co.uk - speedway information for all UK leagues plus Grand Prix & World Cup stats
Heat 07: Howe, Johnston, Kroner, Hefenbrock 56.30, 3-3, 21-20
Comments: Kroner gated first, but lifted badly on back straight first lap and let Howe through - who then proceeded to race away with it.
Sponsored by Merlin
Heat 08: Miskowiak, Schramm, Dryml, Hansen 57.77, 1-5, 22-25
Comments:Very scrappy first corner, Miskowiak barrelling his way through to take lead, Schramm followed him through. Hansen well outpaced out the back.
Sponsored by Speedway Souvenirs available at www.enjaydesigns.net
Heat 09: Hampel, Swiderski, Iversen, Klindt. 55.75, 1-5, 23-30
Comments:Hampel majestic and away! Terrific scrap between Swidders and NK, NK leading for three laps before Swidders got him at last. What a turn round in this meeting!

Heat 10: Lindgren, Johnston, Kroner, (Dryml excluded) sky gave no time!, 3-3, 26-33
Comments:
Big smash - Johno goes out of shape, knocks into Dryml as Dryml goes past him, Johnno gets fired out side door, Dryml's bike cuts back across track and lands in front of Kroner who had nowhere to go and ran over it. All three on ground but seem to be up and walking now - lucky! could have been nasty. Ref has now excluded Dryml!! - he complains on phone (and yet again ref talks to him - why doesn't he like Klindt??) - and is not happy saying Johnno clunked into him.
Re-run - Freddie from the gate, Ippo riders never near him, won by third of a lap.

Heat 11: Miskowiak, Kennett, Hansen, Howe e/f, sky gave no time 1-5, 27-38
Comments: Hansen in for Hefenbrock
Howe's bike blew a chain on lap 2, leaving Ippo pair to clear up
Sponsored by Peter Hopkins
Heat 12: Swiderski, Lindgren, Iversen, Kroner 52.94!, 5-3, 32-41
Comments: Lindgren in for Hansen as tactical substitution in black & white off 15 metres
Peter Adams says "we're carrying too many passengers"
NK missed a gate he had to make to slow down Ippo pair, but fought back to get into second after Ippo gated 5-1. Lindgren followed him through, Swiderski rode fantastic to win the heat and hold them off. NK slowed down on line to let Lindgren pick up double points.

Heat 13: Lindgren Hampel, Howe, Kennett no time again!, 4-2 36-43

Heat 14:Swiderski, Hefenbrock, Schramm, Klindt 56.77, 2-4, 38-47
Comments: Swiderski in for Johnston, who has withdrawn from meeting after that earlier crash

General Comments:
Looks like Jonathan Green has gone! Nigel Pearson and Kelvin "nodding dog" Tatum are the anchors - which probably means Millard's in the commentary box
Teams confirmed as is - Kroner rides for Ippo
Sky opened with Hampel - the GP star - gonna go good for Ippo
Interviewing David Howe (the lovely Sarah Elgin) who hopes having Sky at Monmore won't put a jinx on it!
Now she's moved on to Johnno - who says Ippo are well confident and he likes the look of the track which is in "good nick"
It is apparentely very cold!
Pearson & Tatum are going up a cherry picker to do the commentary - no Millard!!
Wolves off 1 & 3 - no idea who won toss!
Johnno interviewed by Ermelenko - says he is OK, just feels a bit giddy. Swiderski says the boys have "done it for him"
Mr Adams says "changes will be made once June comes round" he did not look happy...
Well done Ippo on ANOTHER away win! Cheers for joining me, hope it was entertaining. Thank you and goodnight...
