COMMENTS:
Boothers has arrived trackside, a healthy crowd at the track which doesn't look bad considering all the bad weather recently.
Line up confirmed as above.
Ht 1; Re-Run; Powell (xm) 2 minutes replaced by Stoddart (r/c). From the gate, excellent ride from Proctor to keep Henry behind him. New track record due to re-shaping of track and new official length.
Ht 2; Stoddart from the gate but Bugeja went underneath on 2nd turn.
Ht 3; From the tapes. King chased down Grieves then fell 2nd bend last lap. New track record.
Ht 4; From the gate.
Ht 5; Grieves from the tapes, Auty soon passed Powell and almost caught Henry at one point. Best race of the night so far.
Ht 6; What a race! Stancl gated Proctor roared round him on 3rd & 4th bends, Stancl battled back brilliantly just nicking it on the line. Ty Proctor a Star in the making!
Ht 7; King took Bugeja very wide on 1st turn.
Ht 8; Proctor gated and was gone, think we've found one here! Much better from Giffard who held off a catching Powell well.
Ht 9; Grieves made a good gate, Auty got through to 2nd and was holding off Stancl until last bend 3rd lap when he appeared to gain grip and shot round the outside and into the fence. He was straight up and walked back to the pits.
Ht 10; Great effort by Franc after an excellent first bend by Havelock.
Ht 11; Re-Run, Kerr fell 2nd bend, up and ok after some treatment from the medics but is excluded from the re-run. From the gate, Bugeja looked to be tailed off but fought back to be challenging.
INTERVAL
Grieves is withdrawing from the rest of the meeting due to a chest infection.
Ht 12; Bugeja in as (r/c) replacing Grieves in Red. From the start.
Ht 13; New Track Record, Kerr gated and was gone but the best was Havelock battling through to 2nd.
Ht 14; All the way although Bugeja pushed hard.
Ht 15;
RED ~ Havelock
BLUE ~ Kerr
GREEN ~ Stancl
YELLOW ~ Franc
Re-Run, Kerr miles ahead, Havelock battles through to 3rd only to fall 1st bend 3rd lap due to chain. Havelock stays down. Excluded. Kerr no mistake 2nd time round.
Many thanks to Boothers for texting this evening and to you all for joining in. See you all on here tomorrow for the Scunthorpe meeting, goodnight.
