Heat Results
Heat 01: Łaguta, Iversen, Fricke, Sedgmen 59.7 5-1
Line Up: Łaguta, Iversen, Fricke, Sedgmen
Comments: Sedgmen had a good start off 1, but Łaguta around the outside and Iversen inside passed him off bend 2. Fricke also passed Sedgmen but never got close as they all rode the inside line.
Supported by Maitland Travel www.maitlandtravel.co.uk - providers of Speedway Holidays and bespoke travel all over the world
Heat 02: Cook, Jenkins, Allen, Kemp (Ret) 58.5 5-1 (10-2)
Line Up: Cook, Jenkins, Allen, Kemp
Comments: Essentially FTG, all on the inside line. Kemp pulled up on the first lap.
Supported by Friends Of Steve Casey - Always An Ace
Heat 03: Basso, Tarasenko, Sedgmen, Kerr 59.2 5-1 (15-3)
Line Up: Tarasenko, Basso, Kerr, R/R - Sedgmen
Comments: Sedgmen fast away and led the first lap, but took an awful mid-track line and Basso came underneath B1 & 2 L2, and Tarasenko followed suit a lap later. Kerr never in shot after first bend. ArnieG says "Lion Sleeps Tonight (Wim-o-weh) blasting out over PA ".
Supported by andout www.canadianspeedway.com
Heat 04: Lawson, Harris, Jenkins, Kemp 58.5 3-3 (18-6)
Line Up: Harris, Jenkins, Lawson, Kemp
Comments: Lawson very quickly away, and won by a distance to double the Lions' score. Harris and Jenkins quickly accounted for Kemp on the first lap.
Supported by Friends of Edinburgh Speedway www.foes.info/
Heat 05: Tarasenko, Sedgmen, Basso, Fricke 58.5 4-2 (22-8)
Line Up: Tarasenko, Basso, Fricke, Sedgmen
Comments: Fricke fast away, but something happened which made him drift wide and slow on Bend 2. Replay shows that he seemed to get too much grip and he had to two-wheel to recover. Sedgmen rode a more sensible line to retain second place.
Supported by Rails of Sheffield
Heat 06: Iversen, Łaguta, Allen, Lawson 58.5 5-1 (27-9)
Line Up: Łaguta, Iversen, Lawson, Allen
Comments: Fairly even into the first bend, but Iversen emerged ahead on back straight and Łaguta powered underneath Lawson off Bend 4. Lawson made a big error on B1/2 last lap and relegated to last.
Supported by Memories Of Poole Pirates Speedway Club www.facebook.com/groups/859822440748832/
Heat 07: Fricke, Kerr, Harris, Cook 59.7 1-5 (28-14)
Line Up: Harris, Cook, Kerr, R/R - (T/S) Fricke
Comments: Fricke as T/S in place of R/R. Harris tried to chase Fricke, but was finding no real benefit on the outside and Kerr crept underneath, and then rode a great race to block every Harris move.
Supported by Fina Watson Art finawatsonart.com
Heat 08: Iversen, Sedgmen, Kemp, Jenkins 58.9 3-3 (31-17)
Line Up: Iversen, Jenkins, Sedgmen, Kemp
Comments: Iversen way ahead. Jenkins stuck at the back and gave chase - looked like he would get outside Kemp towards the end of L3, early L4, but Kemp held him off and Sedgmen seemed to slow a bit to block any other line.
Supported by Scorpions TV - Never Miss a Sting! link
Heat 09: Tarasenko, Basso, Lawson, Allen 59.1 5-1 (36-18)
Line Up: Tarasenko, Basso, Lawson, Allen
Comments: FTG.

Heat 10: Łaguta, Iversen, Kerr, Kemp 59.1 5-1 (41-19)
Line Up: Łaguta, Iversen, Kerr, R/R - Kemp
Comments: Great race! Iversen fast away, Kerr gets speed down the back straight to take second. Łaguta sweeps under both Kerr and Iversen into B1, L2, and Iversen sent wide enough for Kerr ro get into 2nd. Iversen then passes Kerr at the end of Lap 2 - Kerr tried everything, but unbeaten Iversen too experienced to leave any gaps.

Heat 12: Tarasenko, Jenkins, Kerr, Kemp 59.3 5-1 (47-25)

Supported by Speedway Fantasy League - www.speedwayleague.net
Heat 13: Łaguta, Fricke, Lawson, Harris 59.2 3-3 (50-28)
Line Up: Łaguta, Harris, Fricke, Lawson
Comments: Fricke worked hard to keep Lawson with him, blocking other lines for Harris, who hasn't had any success out wide.
Supported by Vin's Ices @ Sheffield Speedway- the best ice cream in British speedway!
Heat 14: Basso, Kerr, Cook, Allen 59.3 4-2 (54-30)
Line Up: Basso, Cook, R/R - Kerr,Kemp Allen
Comments: Reserve switch by Lions. STOPPED: Allen fell on first bend - he was last away, but got clipped by Cook's back wheel as they turned into B1. Re-start All 4.
Re-start: Essentially from the gate, but remarkably close with Cook putting all sorts of pressure on Kerr, who is also trying to look for an opportunity to pass Basso. Very close on the line and Basso held on, with Cook so very close!
Supported by The Speedway Updates Team who have Dedicated this Heat in Memory of the Voice of Speedway: Nigel Pearson (1970-2022)
Heat 15: Łaguta, Fricke, Tarasenko, Lawson 58.7 4-2 (58-32)
Line-up: Łaguta, Tarasenko, Lawson, Fricke
Comments: Panthers off 1 & 3. Łaguta away, Fricke looked like he was going to nurse Lawson round for a shared heat to force a race-off for the Aggregate BP, but Tarasenko was having nothing of it and forced his way between them and outside Lawson off B2 L3 to take third place and claim the win that nobody was expecting. The Miracle of Alwalton has occurred for Ipswich! Chris Louis in the pits looking rather happy! ArnieG says: "It's the magic of Stewart Dickson. He's brought in Batchelor, C Cook and R Worrall "
