Comments: Great start by Howarth. Harris in third, elecst the outside line, and Pickering sticks inside to pass him B3/4 L1.

Comments: STOPPED. Coming off Bend 2, Jenkins, in last, moves outside Gilkes, and catches Gilkes back wheel as Gilkes started to move wider. They both fell heavily on the back straight - I think Gilkes whacked against the wooden fence. Jenkins up, Gilkes receiving attention on the track. Gilkes excluded as the cause of the stoppage.

Comments: Reserve switch by Sheffield. Kerr away, but Iversen rode an interesting low line to round Kerr off bend 2. Woffinden got past Kerr and set off after Iversen - looked faster, and he rode around the outside of Iversen off B2, L2. Iversen looked down at his bike, although Woffinden was clearly much faster.

Comments: Howarth looked like he had made a good start, but couldn't build speed into the first bend. The Panthers beat him up on the first bend, and Ellis was never really in it.

Comments: Harris refused to let Kerr cut across on B1/2, and grabbed second behind Woffinden. Tarasenko passed Kerr on the inside of the back straight going into b3.

STOPPED. Kerr moves at the start, and the peak of his helmet caught the tapes. He was already on a warning, so is excluded. Kerr will go off 15 metres. Phill Morris asked referee Griffin to confirm what needs to happen: Kerr off 15M from Gate 3, so Woffinden will be off 1.

Cracking race for second and third between Iversen and Woffinden, who traded places a couple of times, and both made errors, which they managed to salvage while riding at speed with full commitment.
