Comments: Mildenhall win toss and take gates 2 + 4.
Race stopped, all 4 riders down on bend 1, Vale led but slid off and the others laid down. Ref says all 4 back. All up and walking back. Repairs to air fence ongoing.
Re-Run: Vale fell B1 L3 when last, excluded. Morley had led from the start but Bowtell inside him B2 L1. Morley then had engine troubles and Butcher passed him. To be re-run.
Re-Run x2: Morley gated and Bowtell tried to get up the inside Lap 3 but Morley held firm. Royals dodged a bullet as previous running could definitely have been awarded.

Comments: Cracking race between Ablitt and Bowtell. Bowtell led from the gate but Ablitt inside him off the second bend, Bowtell back under B3 before Ablitt makes a move stick B2 L2 and holds on for the win.
