Comments: Douglas made the start but Lawson nudged ahead out of bend 2 lap 1, Great battle between the front 2 all race but Lawson hangs on. Nielsen made a mistake bend 4 lap 4 and Kemp nearly got through for 3rd.

Comments: Brummies pair faster from the start again. Mountain up the inside and Allen round the outside of Bowtell bend 2 lap 1. Bowtell passed Mountain bend 3 lap 1 and Sedgmen won by a distance.

Comments: Ablitt round the outside of Brummies backstraight lap 1 to join Allen out front. Brilliant team riding by the Scorpions to keep Batchelor at bay.

Comments: Stopped. Kemp got moved out bend 1 and took Nielsen down with him. Kemp up and walking back to pits. Nielsen recieving medical attention. Nielsen now up and ok, re run all 4.
Re-run Stopped. Kemps bad luck continues and is excluded for touching the tapes. Ablitt replaces.
Re-run x2 Ablitt round the outside of Bowtell bend 3 lap 1, Mountain follows him through up the inside. Scorpions look settled until bend 4 lap 3 where Bowtell got round Ablitt for 2nd.

Comments: Good battle between Douglas & Batchelor. Douglas from the start. Batchelor round the outside going into lap 2 to take the lead. Douglas then got back up the inside bend 3 lap 2.

Comments: Bowtell replaces Nielsen.
Allen flew from the start. Ablitt missed the gate but cut back bend 2 and flew passed the Brummies. Bowtell nudged ahead of Ablitt going into lap 2 before Ablitt then got back ahead. Lawson got in the mix and both Brummies got back ahead of Ablitt. How Ablitt finished pointless is a mystery.

Brummies from the gate. Cook goes from last to first down backstraight lap 1. Good battle at the back between Mountain and Starke for first couple of laps before Mountain pulls away.

Fantastic race to finish. Could have gone 1 of 4 ways right up until the finish line. Lawson took the lead with Douglas all over him for 3 laps. Douglas then got ahead of Lawson bend 2 lap 4 with Douglas just holding off Lawson on the run to the line. Allen & Sedgmen pass and re pass a couple of times before Allen makes it stick for 3rd.
