Heat Results
Heat 01: Bewley, Brennan, Iversen, Cook 1-5
Line Up: Iversen, Cook, Bewley, Brennan
Comments: Brennan quickly away, and while Iversen tried to challenge Brennan on the inside down the back straight and 3rd bend, Bewley powered around the outside to join Brennan at the front. He rode outside for the first couple of laps, but was able to leave Brennan, who was never troubled.
Supported by Maitland Travel www.maitlandtravel.co.uk - providers of Speedway Holidays and bespoke travel all over the world
Heat 02: Andersen, Rew, Jenkins, Mulford 4-2, 5-7
Line Up: Andersen, Jenkins, Rew, Mulford
Comments: Andersen from the gate and held the white line to victory, with Rew equally set in second. Mulford tried the outside line, but after a couple of laps, Jenkins passed him by using the inside line.
Supported by Friends Of Steve Casey - Always An Ace
Heat 03: Lidsey, Wright, Basso, Worrall 1-5, 6-12
Line Up: Basso, Worrall, Lidsey, Worrall
Comments: Essentially FTG. Worrall tried to sweep across Wright on the first bend, but Wright simply cut back off the second bend and Worrall was relegated to last.
Supported by andout www.canadianspeedway.com
Heat 04: Tarasenko, Jenkins, Mulford, Kurtz 5-1, 11-13
Line Up: Tarasenko, Jenkins, Kurtz, Mulford
Comments: Tarasenko swept into the lead from the outside and won at a canter. Jenkins won the other race to the first bend. Kurtz battled hard with Mulford, but it seems he came last.

Adverts and grading. Nicholls giving his view of the starting gate positions. Tatummerr trying to remember the score.
20:18 gardening for Heat 5.
Heat 05: Bewley, Basso, Brennan, Worrall 2-4, 13-17
Line Up: Basso, Worrall, Bewley, Brennan
Comments: Bewley again swept around the outside of the first two bends. Basso looked comfy in second, but Brennan forced his way under on bends 1/2 of last lap, and was alongside Basso down the back straight - Basso clamped hard on entry to third bend, and Brennan did well to retain his own line and third place.
Supported by Rails of Sheffield
Heat 06: Kurtz, Cook, Iversen, Rew 3-3, 16-20
Line Up: Iversen, Cook, Kurtz, Rew
Comments: Kurtz took Iversen wide off second bend, and Cook came through into second place. Similar last lap to the previous heat, with Cook forcing his way underneath Kurtz going into last lap, but Kurtz closing the door on bend 3.
Supported by Memories Of Poole Pirates Speedway Club www.facebook.com/groups/859822440748832/
Heat 07: Lidsey, Tarasenko, Andersen, Wright (Ret) 3-3, 19-23
Line Up: Tarasenko, Andersen, Lidsey, Wright

20:38 Gardening commences. Brennan still off his bike digging when the others are sat ready!
Heat 08: (Re-run) Brennan, Mulford, Jenkins, Cook (15m) 1-5, 20-28
Line Up: Cook (15m), Jenkins, Brennan, Mulford
Comments: STOPPED: Cook blasts through the tapes - nobody else twitched. Carried the tapes down to the first bend, where his mechanics had to untangle them. Cook will go off 15 metres.
Re-run: Looked like it was FTG until the very last couple of bends when Mulford came charging around the outside to make up ground on Jenkins and snatching second on the line by a tyre-width. A closer look at the finish suggests Jenkins had just relaxed his throttle hand, and was caught completely unaware.

During the delay in Heat 8, Nicholls gave an analysis of the gate positions, using the screen to show the lines the riders were taking directly from the start. He reckoned those would change as the positions on track wore out.
Heat 09: Tarasenko, Basso, Kurtz, Rew 5-1, 25-29
Line Up: Basso,Worrall T/S Tarasenko, Kurtz, Rew
Comments: Tarasenko as T/S in place of Worrall, off Gate 1. FTG - although quite entertaining, with Tarasenko never looking behind, and Basso unsure where to ride, given that the outside line could make him vulnerable. Amazingly, with Kurtz trying the outside, Rew came under his teammate! Kurtz regained third and gave it one last surge around the outside of final two bends, but never close enough.

Heat 10: Lidsey, Cook, Iversen, Wright 3-3, 28-32
Line Up: Iversen, Cook, Lidsey, Wright

21:09 Gardening for Heat 12.
Heat 12: Rew, Basso, Lidsey, Jenkins 2-4, 33-39
Line Up: Basso, Jenkins, Lidsey, Rew
Comments: Phew! All four riders race of the season! Assumed Lidsey would go away to victory after dominating the third bend lap 1 ahead of Basso. Somehow, Jenkins comes to the party, and passes Lidsey off the fourth bend! Rew then started to wind it on around the outside, and with Jenkins trying to keep him wide off the second bend final lap, he can't cope and is also passed on the inside by Lidsey, and relegated from first to last. Basso then does the big outside blast on the last two bends and gets second with a wheelie wheel ahead of Lidsey! EDITED - because I swapped Rew and Lidsey
Supported by Speedway Fantasy League - www.speedwayleague.net
Heat 13: Kurtz, Bewley, Iversen, Tarasenko 1-5, 34-44
Line Up: Iversen, Tarasenko, Bewley, Kurtz
Comments: Kurtz dominant on first lap. Iversen works his way into second under Bewley down home straight lap 2, but drifts wide and Bewley cuts back to pass him off second bend, and the Aces win by a distance.

Heat 15: Tarasenko, Bewley, Basso, Lidsey 4-2, 41-49
Line-up: Basso, Tarasenko, Bewley, Lidsey
Comments: P'boro take 2&4. Panthers away very quickly. Bewley made an error on bend 2, Lidsey through to third - although Bewley then launched himself high ad wide and passed Lidsey and then Basso, claiming second at the end of lap 2.
