Comments: Scorpions emerge ahead off bend 2 after a tight first corner. Harris passes Douglas bend 4 lap 1 and Nowak follows him through bend 1 lap 2. Harris is then all over Kemp for the last 2 laps, but Kemp stuck to the inside line and Harris couldn't find a way through.

Heat 02: Pijper, Complin, Ablitt, Mountain (FX) 5-1 (8-4) 57.99
Line Up: Complin, Pijper, Ablitt, Mountain
Comments: Stopped. Mountain fell on his own bend 1 lap 1 and is excluded from the re-run. Mountain now back on his feet and walking back to the pits.
Re-Run: Ablitt edges out Pijper on the opening bends. Cracking battle between Pijper and Ablitt for a couple of laps before Pijper makes a move stick on the backstraight lap 3. Ablitt runs wide bend 2 lap 4 and Complin who'd made up a lot of ground to catch up slipped past on the inside.

Line Up: Brennan, Vissing, Lambert, R/R - Kemp
Comments: Scorpions pair hit bend 1 ahead, Vissing uses the inside line to pass the pair off Scorpions off bend 2 lap 1. Brennan powers past the Scorpions back straight lap 1 to join Vissing out front for a routine 5-1.

Comments: Tigers rocket from the gate. Basso eases away for a comfortable win. Allen is all over Pijper for the first couple of laps and passes him on the inside into bend 3 lap 3.

Line Up: Brennan, Vissing, Douglas, Kemp
Comments: Kemp makes the best gate, Douglas though fires himself to the front on the backstraight lap 1. Vissing passes Kemp bend 3 lap 1. Brennan was adrift initially but closed in on Kemp without getting close enough to attempt a pass.

Line Up: Harris, Nowak, Allen, Ablitt
Comments: Harris gets ahead off bend 2 despite not making a great gate and clears off for an easy win. Nowak passed Ablitt for 3rd bend 2 lap 2. Nowak then closed on Allen and nearly passed him on lap 4 but Allen held on.

Line Up: Basso, Complin, Lambert,R/R Douglas
Comments: Ryan Douglas T/S.
Basso does well to get the better of Douglas on lap 1 before pulling ahead to win comfortably. Complin initially held 3rd and had a good scrap with Lambert. Lambert passes Complin bend 2 lap 2, then edges further ahead as the race goes on.

Line Up: Nowak, Pijper, Kemp,Mountain Ablitt
Comments: Scorpions make the gate. Nowak passes Ablitt back straight lap 1. Nowak then right with Kemp for the next couple of laps. Kemp rides a tight line and Nowak can't find a way through, Pijper pulled up and retired on lap 3.

Line Up: Brennan, Vissing, Allen, Ablitt
Comments: Stopped. Ablitt falls bend 2 lap 1 and the red light are on quickly. Ablitt is excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Tigers make the gate. Allen very close to passing Vissing off bend 4 lap 1 but Vissing slams the door shut. Really hard racing between Vissing and Allen for the rest of the race with them pretty much neck and neck throughout. Allen looking faster throughout eventually passes Vissing bends 3 and 4. Great race between them 2.

Comments: Nowak makes the gate. Harris roars round the outside of the opening bends to hit the front. Lambert is right on the back wheel of Nowak for the next couple of laps. Nowak riding a tight line. Lambert eventually builds up enough speed to make a pass stick on lap 3.
