Comments: Brennan passed Thomson for the lead B3 L1 and then eased away. Vissing came down on his own on B2 L1, remounted but then retired at the end of lap 1.

Comments: Harris sees off the Monarchs on the opening bends then romps off to win in style. Nowak closed up on Thomson on the last lap but didn't get close enough to attempt a pass.

Comments: Basso takes the Monarchs wide on the opening bends and Complin nips up the inside to join him out front. Borke quickly takes 2nd. Borke nearly comes to grief exiting B4 L1 but survives a bit of a scrape along the fence. Complin does well not to collect him. Complin then makes a big mistake B2 L2 and Thomson takes 3rd.

Comments: Cracking race! Sedgmen gates and leads for a couple of laps but Basso is all over him. Basso takes the lead backstraight lap 3 but Sedgmen re-passes and leads into B3 L4. Basso flies back round him B4 L4 and Harris comes from nowhere to nip under Sedgmen on the line.

19:33 - Small delay to let all the fans in. Now spitting with rain but don't think it'll come to much.
19:38 - Announced that Borke is not there yet as his flight was delayed, but 2 mins on for heat 1. Rain has stopped now and it's roasting.
