Line Up: Embleton, Watson, Woods, Dugard
Comments: Dugard fastest out of gate 3 but being chased by Watson from the get go. Quite a distance between 2nd and 3rd. Embleton hitting the home straight fence a couple of times, B4 L4 only just managing to stay on the bike to cross the finish line.

Line Up: Coles, Halder, Atkins, Scott
Comments: Slight movement from Halder before the tapes lift but race continues. Very tight between Coles and Atkins on B1 L1 with slight contact with Coles just coming out in front. Not sure what was happening out at the back as the camera was following the front two riders only.

Line Up: Blair, Watson, Kinsley, Dugard
Comments: Dugard misses the gate while Blair flew out of the gate and is gone. Watson challenging Kinsley hard before he charges around Kinsley B3/4 L3. Watson then crashes going into B1 L4 while in 2nd. Red lights come on. Watson up and on his feet walking back to the pits. Watson excluded and the race is awarded.

Comments: Jenkins and Coles fly out of the gate with Coles coming out infront coming out of B2 L1. Another big gap between 2nd and 3rd. Halder packs up lap 2. By the start of lap 3, Coles has opened up a nice gap. Impressive race from Coles out front. Announced that Coles has broken the NL track record.

Comments: Kinsley fastest away from the gate but being chased by Phillips from the get-go. Huge gap between 2nd and 3rd again with Woods trailing at the back. Kinsley opening a nice gap by the start of lap 3 and not challenged.

Comments: Very tight between Atkins and Blair back straight lap 1. Blair challenging hard and by lap 3 is closing the gap before Atkins widens the gap again by home straight lap 4. Impressive ride from Atkins to keep a speedy Blair in 2nd. Appeared to be a massive gap between 1&2 and 3&4 once again, two separate races going on.

Comments: Even start from all 4 riders. Very good riding from Woods to keep up and challenge Watson. Rathbone in 3rd pushing hard but just not quite getting close enough to be able to take 2nd. Clouting at the back, didn't really make an impact on Rathbone.

Comments: Coles flies out of gate 4 with Kinsley chasing hard but just not finding enough speed to get past. Halder untroubled in 3rd place but not anywhere close to Kinsley. Woods retires while at the back.

Comments: Slight movement from Rathbone but gets away with it. Atkins flew away from the tapes and gets the better of the Berwick pair. Phillips settles in second and not really challenging Atkins at all. Scott at the back starting to make some ground on Rathbone and just gets past him coming out of B4 L4 to take 3rd on the line.

Comments: Jenkins lifted momentarily coming out of the gates but manages to get to the 1st bend in front. Blair challenging Jenkins hard and steals 1st homestraight going into lap 3 in the smallest of gaps. Two separate races going on once again, two leading riders at least half a lap ahead of the last two. Very good battle between Jenkins and Blair. Race of the night so far.

Comments: Coles runs Atkins right up into the fence before slamming the door shut. Watson last but chasing Woods hard from the start, every time he tries to overtake, Woods shuts the door. Watson trying everything he knows to get past but just cannot quite do it until the run up to the line to take 3rd. Brilliant ride from Watson. Very unfortunate for Woods who fought all the way to hold him off.

Comments: Very competitive line up in this heat. Slight movement from Phillips. Chargers duo absolutely flew out of the gates and Blair is left at the back. Very tight throughout the first two laps. Blair squeezes past Kinsley backstraight lap 2 with immense speed before quickly chasing Jenkins down but could not quite get close enough to attempt an overtake.

Comments: Halder didn't make it out of the gate - mechanical gremlins? Scott out in front being chased hard by Watson. Watson gets the better of Scott homestraight lap 2 much to the delight of the crowd. Scott chasing hard throughout the rest of the race. No sign of Woods who is trailing at the back.

Comments: Berwick choose 2&4. Coles and Jenkins fly out of the gates and Blair slides off on the 1st bend. Race stopped but not immediately. Blair disqualified as the primary cause of the stoppage. Ref's decision causing a lot of debate in the crowd with a few choice words...
Re-run: Coles misses the gate completely. Chargers on a 5-1 as a result. Coles chasing hard but just not quite in the right position to attempt to overtake. Chargers duo team riding well. Coles trailing by the start of lap 4. Some confusion over a suspected 5 lap race. Good 5-1 from Oxford to take the win tonight.
