Comments: Bailey gates and gets across everyone off gate 4. Jenkins chases him down and goes round Bailey on bend 2 lap 2 for the lead. Newman makes up ground on Bailey during the last lap and almost gets 2nd on the line.

Race stopped. Brennan leads off bend 2 lap 1, King comes under Brennan on bend 4 lap 1 and pushes him wide, which allows Kerr to pass both of them going into lap 2. Brennan and Kings are neck and neck going into bend 1 lap 2 and Brennan falls. He is up and okay, but excluded from the re-run.
Re-Run: Kerr gates, King into 2nd on backstraight of lap 1 and Bears pair are untroubled from then on.

Comments: Race stopped. Kerr with a flyer and has been warned to sit still.
Re Run: Race stopped. Newman falls on bend 1 after a close first bend and Kerr has been deemed as cause of the stoppage. Kerr has been excluded from re run. Newman is up and okay.
Re Run x2: Newman gates, but Cook is quickly past on back straight of lap 1. Summers goes under Newman on backstraight lap 3, Newman re-passes going into lap 4 and holds onto 2nd.
