Comments: A fast heat with Nicol taking early lead. Cook was at the back at the end of 1st lap, but soon past D Thompson for 3rd. Dan tried to regain the place but didnt have the speed.

Comments: Kennedy took the early lead with J Thompson in 4th. As the laps went on J Thompson had finished up in 1st overtaking his own team mate on lap 3. Excellent riding from all 4 riders.

Comments: An excellent heat for Worrall who had the lead before the 1st bend. Douglas looked like he was struggling at first but soon came good. He & Jensen had a close encounter resulting in Jensen almost hitting the air fence.

Line Up: Howarth, Kennedy, Wells, Bailey
Comments: Wells always does well at BP and this race was no different. He took the lead on 2nd bend, although Howarth tried to narrow the gap he couldnt catch him.

Comments: This heat had to be re run as Nicol was moving on the start line. The Lions had a better start and were on a 5-1 but Cook had other ideas..Douglas ended the heat by doing his impression of a red arrow, trailing white smoke behind him.

Comments: The main event of this race was the battle between Brennan & D Thompson. Brennan managed to keep D Thompson out until lap 3 and Dan passed him, only for Brennan to retake 3rd on the final bend, Brennan went outside line to block him, but Dan switched into the inside and got the better of him.

Comments: A controversial ending to this heat as Cook ran the last bend of the heat up against Andersen against the fence. Cook won the heat but was booed by the Leicester fans and Cook appeared to be smiling.
