Comments:
King's Lynn have won the toss and take gates 2 & 4
Heat 01: Topinka passed Ostergaard lap 1. Collins fell on the third lap, race stopped and awarded
Heat 02: Neither Brummie posed much of a challenge after teh first bend
Heat 03: Very tight first bend between Harding and Lyons. Lyons tried nudging him wide but Harding just managed to hold the line. Nermark challenging for second when his bike slowed on lap 3. ITS COLD!!!!
Heat 04: Good battle for second. Lambert gated well, didn't seem that quick and Sanchez passed him at the start of lap 3
Nermarks problem in ht 4 has been confirmed as a clutch problem.
Aidan Collins has been withdrawn from the meeting
Heat 05: Smart in as reserve switch for Collins
Heat 05: Nermark again slowed on third lap while challenging for the lead. Ostergaard had passed him coming out of bend two lap 1. Nermarks chair is now dead (Honest thats what the text says ). Harding swooped round Smart on the final lap
Heat 06: Sanchez touched the tapes and is excluded, Werner comes in as replacement
Heat 06: Werner is rather unimpressive but Smart is definitely giving it a go. And just as I typed that Mr Mungo said he might want to edit it as Werner is being checked over by the medical staff!
Mr Mungo advises there was no info given about Aidan but he walked back to the pits
Heat 07: Lyons takes TR
Heat 07: Excellent team riding by the King's Lynn pairing. Got a bit close on several occassions but just managed to hold on. Great shepherding by Lee
Brent Werner has now also withdrawn from the meeting
Heat 08: Ostergaard takes TS in place of Collins
Heat 08: Smart in for Werner
Heat 08: Great effort by the Dane. Smart passed Lambert lap 1, Ostergaard passed lambert lap 2. He was all over Mills on the final lap but Mills held on by a whisker. Great Effort
Heat 09: Another fine ride by Smart. Smart passed Harding in the early stages and rode well to fend off Hardings challenge. Nermark was leading my a mile when he again slowed. Just managed to hold on to 3rd. Not his night!

INTERVAL
********
Nermark has been busy changing his carb as well as the clutch during the interval!
Heat 10: Dreadful gate by Mills. Finally got passed Powell at the end of the third lap with a fine outside swoop
Heat 11: Three riders only. Another fine ride by Ostergaard. Brundle gated but Ostergaard dived past at the start of the second lap. Lee chased in the latter stages but there was no way through
Heat 12: Brundle in for Lambert
Heat 12: Interesting race, Brundle gated but Lyons all over him and passed him lap 3 only to get re-passed. At the same time Nermark passed Lyons too! Nermark himself screwed up the gate and had to pass Smart on lap 2. Lyons then slowed on final lap
Heat 13: From the gate but Ostergaard was never far off and always kept battling. Got to love the Danes!
Heat 14: Smart in for Werner. Powell gated but it didn't stay that way. Brundle passed him on the second bend, Harding followed through at the start of the second lap and to add insult to injury Smart passed him on the final lap!
Heat 15: Line Up:- Lee Topinka Lyons Ostergaard
King's Lynn take 1 and 3
Good tussle between Lyons and Topinka, never much more than a bike length between them
Thanks again to Mr Mungo for the superb texts and thanks to you guys for joiining us
