Comments:
Lineups confirmed.
Message from track- Just spent an hour taking all the wet shale off the track, and the riders giving the track an evil glare!!
Still working on the track, but hope to get the meeting on in about 20 mins.
Heat 01: Active! All riders struggling especially on the third bend but the time is just off the track record!! (think that bits sarcasm lol) Mills looked the most comfortable of everyone and passed Madsen on the final bend. Topinka shaking his head after the race. More track grading now underway
Okay you aren't going to believe this one but its true, honest! there is a further delay whilst they wait for the SUN to go down. Mr Mungo and Trees are having a very chipper conversation meantime
Heat 02: Thompson fell just before the first bend and was unlucky not to get a re-start. Brundle passed Suchanek lap 2
Heat 03: Easy for Mildenhall pairing after second bend. Track getting marginally better. Mildenhall riders attacked the track better
Heat 04: Fine and brave pass by Lee on second lap - didn't look like there was room! Lambert not on the pace
Heat 05: Madsen fell heavily on the fourth bend, lap 2 whilst in last. Race awarded. There was a good race developing between Harding and Tacey. Ambulance on track
Heat 06: Topinka completed a fine pass on third and fourth bend of first lap
Heat 07: Bit close on the first bend. Pretty much from the gate after that but no lack of effort from king
Heat 08: Brundle in as reserve switch for Lambert. Suchanek passed Mills lap 1. Close to Brundle in latter stages too but brundle just held on. Mills not far off either at times. Same cannot be said about Tacey
***News on Tom P Madsen***
He has a swollen ankle but thankfully it doesn't look like there is anything broken. Obviously he is out for the rest of the meeting (told you Mr Mungo would find out!!)
Heat 09: Suchanek in for Thompson. Fry takes TR. Fry from the gate and never challenged. Nermark totally missed the gate but got by Suchanek by the second lap
Heat 10: Fine pass by Legault on Mills on lap two. Topinka passed Mills lap 3 but never got near Legault
Heat 11: Suchanek in for Madsen. Mildenhall pairing from the gate. Lee flew past Tacey lap 2 but couldn't get close to Suchanek
Heat 12: Suchanek in for Thompson. Great team riding from Mildenhall. Try as he might Nermark couldn't find a way past until the final bend when he just nipped past Legault on the line
Heat 13: Thompson in for Madsen. Well spread out by the end of the race
Heat 14: Great battle for second. harding passed King lap 2, King passed him again, Harding passed him again but lost second on final bend. Another last heat decider!!
Heat 15: line Up- Topinka Lee Fry Legault
king's Lynn win the toss and take gates 1 and 3.
Lee fell second lap whilst third
Thanks everyone for watching and a big thank you to Mr Mungo for the text.
There was an academy league meeting scheduled for tonight - IF its still going ahead there will be updates for it too!
