Comments: Bates gated level with Worrall but went far too wide on bends 1&2 and dropped to last. Lunna just got ahead of Robson back straight lap 1. Worrall untroubled out front, Robson right with Lunna the whole way but never close enough to pass. Bates adrift at the back.

Line Up: Garcia , Ayres , Sissis , Greaves
Comments: Level gate between all 4 apart from Greaves. Ayres just ahead going into bend 2 but didn't carry enough speed and Sissis got ahead going into bend 3. Sissis won easily, Ayres holding Garcia up slightly but Greaves never threatened.

Heat 03: Summers,Bach,Bates,Heeps(Fell)...56.36. (5-1). 13-5. (AGG 54-54).
Line Up: Summers , Bach , Heeps , R/R- Bates
Comments: Bates takes the rider replacement ride. Summers with a great gate, Bach seemed to be slow to react but powered away and was second leaving bend 2. Heeps kept Bates behind him and was slowing him up a touch. Heeps fell bend 3 lap 4. He is now up and walking back to the pits although limping somewhat.

Comments: Howarth led into bend 2 lap 1 but drifted wide. Lawson powered up the inside to lead down the back straight. Howarth so close for the first lap or so he was extremely close to running into the back of Lawson bend 2 lap 2. Lawson then pulled away and the race was strung out.

Comments: Howarth made a mistake bend 1 lap 1 and dropped to the back. He then went round Lunna going into bend 1 lap 2. Lunna then gave his all and got back under Howarth leaving bend 2 lap 4. He then fell going into bend 3. Lunna up and got a lift back to the pits from Worrall.

Comments: Robson takes the rider replacement ride. Garcia fell bend 2 lap 1 when trying to go round Heeps. He cleared the track. Lawson led all the way but Robson got close when he made a big mistake bend 2 lap 2.

Comments: Race stopped. Ayres down bend 2 lap 1. He was on the outside of Heeps and they got very close together, Ayres locked up and came off. Not sure there was contact from here. Ayres excluded but up and seems to be ok.
Re-Run: Summers from the gate, despite a small mistake bend 2 he led down the back straight. Sissis close for a lap or so then easy for Summers. Heeps a long way back from Sissis.

Re-Run: Sissis got the best of a very tight couple of bends with Bach. Bach then rode his balls off trying to pass him going inside and out. He got up the inside off bend 2 lap 4. Great from Bach and credit to Sissis too.

Comments: Glasgow choose gates 2&4. Lawson briefly ahead of Howarth off bend 2 lap 1. Howarth soon past. Lawson never close to him, Summers looked back and tried to slow the race but Lawson was too far back. Congratulations to Sheffield and good luck in the final, better team won over the two legs.
