Heat Results
Heat 01: Jacobs Starke Williamson Coles (fell) 3-3
Line Up: Starke, Williamson, Jacobs, Coles
Comments: Jacobs passed Williamson turn 2. Took Starke too long to get in to 2nd and set out in pursuit. Weird and potentially painful looking fall for Coles. He highsided at the end of the back straight lap 1 as soon as he went to start his turn. He's up and looks ok.

Heat 02: Perry Philips Dwyer Holt 5-1 8-4
Line Up: Perry, Phillips, Dwyer, Holt
Comments: Heathens a mile clear in what looked a repeat of the previous meeting. Turn 2 last lap Philips had a crisis. Went far too wide. Locked up to try to avoid falling but went over the old camber and clouted the back straight fence. Recovered to still finish about 40m clear in 2nd

Heat 03: Halsey Clegg Greaves Johnson 3-3 11-7
Line Up: Clegg, Greaves, Halsey, Johnson
Comments:Greaves over the kerb turn 1 and looked like the bike bottomed out on the kerb briefly. Greaves did well to stay on. Clegg lost a lot of ground mid race but suddenly made it all up again. Massive dive bomb from a good 15m back in t I the last turn. Clean pass but couldn't lock up enough to cover the kerb and Halsey back through to take it by a length on the line.

Heat 04: Worrall Bates Philips Holt (F) 4-2 15-9
Line Up: Worrall, Phillips, Bates, Holt
Comments: Holt fell turn 4lap 3 and couldn't clear the track quick enough. Bates challenged first lap but Worrall soon worked it out and covered him with ease thereafter

Heat 05: Clegg Coles Jacobs Greaves 3-3 18-12
Line Up: Clegg, Greaves, Jacobs, Coles
Comments: What a race. Forget Clegg he was a mile clear. Coles made a good gate but was slower than the other two. Jacobs and Greaves traded places several times with neither able to make it stick pro perk as they kept falling over Coles' back wheel. A slight mistake by Greaves on turn 1/2 last lap just gave Jacobs enough room to get a full bike length clear and hold the line

Heat 06: Bates Starke Williamson Dwyer 3-3 21-15
Line Up: Starke, Williamson, Bates, Dwyer
Comments: Williamson with the best reaction but Bates drives hard to the turn. Starke kept him honest without even looking like passing.

Heat 07: Perry Worrall Halsey Johnson 5-1 26-16
Line Up: Worrall, Perry, Halsey, Johnson
Comments: All the action on the first turn. Bit of old school classic Perry. Missed it off 4 but gave it a handful to go around the field. Worrall just gentle rolled it off to allow Perry around sms he boys cruised it from there

Heat 08: Williamson Philips Coles Holt 5-1 31-17
Line Up: Williamson, Phillips, Coles, Holt
Comments: Great race for 2nd. Coles charges hard in to turn 3 at what looks like far too fast on lap 1. Hit the dirt on the outside and flew around Philips. Philips got back inside him and there's barely room for a fag paper for the next lap or so. Philips got just enough ahead to squeeze Coles up a bit and then pull knee away a bit on last lap. Cool head by Danny. Didn't panic.

Heat 09: Clegg Bates Greaves Dwyer 4-4 35-21
Line Up: Clegg, Greaves, Bates, Dwyer
Comments: Bates TR. Clegg with a flyer but my word Bates gets that thing to hook up. He missed the drop but again drives well to the turn. Shoulder to shoulder on the back straight. Bates inside Clegg flicks the back wheel out on turn 4 but Clegg ignores it to level out in the lead and held it with plenty to spare. Greaves had half a sniff up the inside once but Bates went clear in 2nd.

Heat 10: Williamson Halsey Starke Johnson 4-2 39-23
Line Up: Starke, Williamson, Halsey, Johnson
Comments: Cracking ride for Matt. Super start and well clear. Starke went large on turn 1. Got passed Halsey but went over the old camber and just gave the fence a gentle nudge which allowed Halsey back inside. Starke then with a big handful on the bottom turn and was about to go in to 2nd as Halsey lifted off turn 4. As recovered he accidentally covered Starke's move. Starke tried his heart out but couldn't make a pass

Heat 11: Perry Worrall Jacobs Coles 5-1 44-24
Line Up: Worrall, Perry, Jacobs, Coles
Comments: Jacobs TR. Will the real Tom Perry please stand up. Another monster first turn. Gated 3rd but went straight for the fence and steamed around Jacobs and got himself to the front with Worrall again taking a look and making sure Tom got himself in a comfortable position in the outside

Heat 12: Clegg Halsey Philips Dwyer 4-2 48-26
Line Up: Clegg, Phillips, Halsey, Dwyer
Comments: Straight forward heat other than Philips had a run at Halsey down the back straight lap 1 and looked like he thought about a dive bomb but changed his mind..

Heat 13: Jacobs Worrall Starke Bates 3-3 51-29
Line Up: Starke, Worrall, Jacobs, Bates
Comments: Jacobs gated. Worrall went for Perry's line. Worked off 4 lap1 but JJ back through turn 1 lap 2. Worrall switched to inside but JJ with fastest time tonight. 9% battery *gulp
