Ht 8, 1st Johnson, 2nd Widman, 3rd Phillips, Nielsen X, Awarded, 5-1, 26-22. Johnson with a great gate to trap Nielsen on inside, with Widman in 3rd. Nielsen was really winding it on, getting closer and closer, and looked odds on to get past on final 2 bends, but Johnson rode a great line, before Nielsen nudged the inside of Brendan, who was a passenger as he hit the safety fence and catapaulted down the track which looked horrific. Nielsen also came to grief, and was excluded from race. After a delay, glad to say that both riders up and back to pits under own steam, but Brendan being looked at more carefully in pits. Nasty crash.

I.o.W take 2 & 4.
Ht 15, Red = Tom Perry, Blue = Worrall, White = Halsey, Yellow = Nielsen.
Ht 15, Nielsen fell bend 3, lap 1, and is excluded from rerun. I.o.W. were leading on a 5-1, after Perry had passed both Tigers on bend 2 & back straight.
Ht 15, 1st Worrall, 2nd Halsey, 3rd Perry, Nielsen FX, 70.8, 4-2, 50-40. Tie to be replayed. Dreadful gate by both I.o.W. riders, with Halsey pulling clear. Worrall, and Perry chased hard though, and on the last lap, coming off the 2nd bend, Worrall went underneath Halsey, to force a 90-90 draw, Perry trying wild and wide lines to try and pass both Worrall and Halsey, but had to settle for third. Must be honest, haven't got this excited about a speedway match in a long time, which is weird, as whoever gets though is going to get anihilated by Dudley in the final! Cheers.
