Heat 04: Wright, Risager, Hawkins, Grajczonek (Ret), 58.41, 3-3, 9-15
Line Up: Grajczonek,
Comments: Wright as reserve for Ritchings. Awesome gate by Wright, goes on to take easy win. But, good as his gate was, Grajczonek's was poor, and his bike packed up at end of lap 2.

Heat 14: Wright, Davies, Lanham, Hawkins, 59.59, 5-1, 43-41
Line Up: Davies, Wright, Lanham, Hawkins
Comments: Absolutely stunning race ... Lanham from tapes, Davies passes on inside and Wright on outside as they go round b1 - Rebel pair then team ride, but Lanham tries inside, outside & down the middle, but Rebel duo hold him off. Could have thrown blanket over 3 of them as they crossed the line!

Heat 15:
Line-up: Grajczonek, Davies, Tungate, Heeps
Comments: Witches take 2&4. Tungate had such a flier from the tapes is was unbelievable ... anyway it's all 4 back. Tungate warned for jump start.
Re-start: Witches shut out Davies into b1, but Grajczonek goes round outside to take lead and there's no catching him as he was away and gone! Commiserations to Ipswich, as it takes two teams to make a match such as this ...
